It Seems Good Behavior Is Only A Problem
... when it isn't there ...
To all the focused, dedicated, honest, sincere people who are out there making a difference today:
Sometimes it may feel like you're the only ones. But you're not. There are millions like you - and like you, they do not boast about their contributions; they quietly work to make society a better place for everyone.
Sometimes it may feel like you're not making progress. But, you are and meaningful progress is there because of you. You may not get a bunch of medals and letters of appreciation and kudos and bling in your job, but, without you and your positive energy, society grinds to a halt in a cloud of painful dysfunction.
Sometimes it may feel like no one notices. But true leaders notice. People who adult like they mean it notice. Surround yourselves with people who adult like they mean it.
Stay safe, keep faith in yourselves, hold your family members tightly and thank them for their support, disregard the energy vampires whose existence is predicated upon others giving them power and remember who you wanted to be.
